2nd post-? about platypoid pelvis

Before I ask my question-here's a quick compilation of my kids deliveries. 8/3/96- my daughter is born (6lbs 5oz)by emergency c-sect after over 40 hours of labor, 3 hrs pushing & a failed forcep delivery. I had an epidural for 10 hrs, all kinds o monitors, and lots of pit to help things along. The baby was not distressed until the end when the contractions were right on top of each other & she wasn't coming out. My OB could only get one forcept in around her head because she was too wedged into my pelvis. They literally had to push on her quite hard to get her back into my uterus to deliver her. My OB said that I had a platypoid pelvis. 1/31/98-my son is born by repeat c-sect 2& 1/2 weeks early weighing 7lbs 1oz(I had mexican the night before and thought I had gas, but it was labor:) ) I had started labor 2 weeks prior to that also, which was stopped. I was in labor for about 24 hrs before the c-sect was done. All the while, I had alot of pain really low where the scar is from the first surgery. When the c-sect was actually done, my ob found that the scar was ready to rupture. Other than that, the surgery & delivery were uneventful (& much better than the first) I was told by my ob that there would be a small possibility of my trying a vbac with the 2nd birth, if the baby was small. Obviously he was quite a bit bigger than my first.

Now the questions: Is it possible for someone with my shaped pelvis to deliver vaginally? Should the baby's head be certain way? How can I know for sure that this is what I have? are there any tests for it (x-ray-mri)? Is it possible that more walking during labor, or a position other than on my back could have helped? Since my scar almost ruptured once, am I more likely to have it happen again if I go into labor or try a vbac?

Thank you for any info you can give me.
