I've been taking Triphasil 28 for a few years due to ovarian cysts with positive results. The only difficulty I have is with the day of the week I get my period. When I began taking the pill, I followed the normal start procedure following my period (as opposed to the "Sunday Start" option that is also reccommended), and since then start new pill packs on Mondays, and finish packs on a Sunday.. Since my peroid starts 4 days before the end of the pack, I always get my period on a Thursday, which means having it over the weekend, when I'm more active and likely to be travelling (it seems a Sunday start would have the same result).

My question is, when I finish my current pack, could I wait a few days and not start the next pack until later in the week (Wednesday or Thursday, rather than Monday)? That way, my cycle should regulate itself so that my period still starts 4 days before the end of the pack, which would then be a Sunday or Monday. And could that short a delay cause me to have the nausea I experienced when I first started taking the Pill?
