Lyn It is not unusual to have bleeding problems in the first three months on the BCP. If you are going to try it, you must give it a chance and 3 months seems reasonable. The problem with changing treatment every month is that you don't give a treatment time to work. You may quickly get through all the medications available and it may take longer to reach the perfect situation. I know it is distressing but hang on in there.
