Thanks. With all due respect to your physician, there is no legitimate medical reason for delaying one minute after you discontinue the Pill to pursue pregnancy. The hormones are out of your system long before the end of the placebo week of the Pill. Some reports suggest that fertility is slightly less during the first post-pill cycle, but that is no reason to wait.
