I had a baby boy in Feb. of 1997. Perfectly normal pregnancy with no complications. After that my periods were every 29 days or so, but I would spot a few days before and a few days after. My doctor thought it was low progesterone. I am 23 by the way. I am currently 4 weeks pregnant. I had some pink cervical mucous the day that my period was due. It didn't come out really. I just checked to make sure. After that there was no more that day. Today I went shopping with my son who weighs a good 30 pounds. After getting him home I went to the bathroom and noticed some more pink mucous. I also had really bad back pains in the lower right side. Now my cervical mucous is back to normal, no pink, but I was wondering if I should be concerned about this? My first doc. appt. isn't until the 14th, should I go in before then and tell her about the two incidents of pink cervical mucous? I wouldn't call it spotting exactly as it didn't come out and went right away. Do you think I need progesterone suppositories? Thanks for any advice.
