In the recovery room, I developed a large hematoma. I had to go back to the operating room and they made a 3 inch incision over the port site. Thye found bleeding fro the epigasric vessels and subcutaneous vessels. After this they put in a drain and I stayed in the hospital 4 days. I was black and blue from the incision around the waist and into the back, which was also the pain route. I still have pain here. I have tried Motrin, heat and a muscle relaxer. An M.R.I. ruled out a hernia. My doc said it could be irritation to a nerve in that area. Can you help me with this?
