Hello, I'm a 21 year old female who has gone off of the BC pill for health reasons--been off for 3 weeks, not counting the last placebo week. It's another week before I'm due for my period. I have also not been sexually active for several months. My question is, how long does it take for the pill to get out of your system? Since I've been off, I'm still experiencing many of the side effects that I had while ON the pill--fatigue, cramps, bloating, a yellowish discharge (normal for me while I was on the pill) and so forth. However, a few of the worst side effects--migranes, mostly--have ceased. My dr. won't give me a straight answer on what to expect regarding withdrawl effects or even with my period--will it be heavy light, or will I have one at all with the adjustment? So, I feel that I'm in the dark about this. If anyone could share their post-pill experiences, or offer some advice, it would be GREATLY appreciated!!!
