Postmenopausal cramps and premarin creamFrom: Dot (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 28 Sep 1998 23:19:46 -0500 (CDT)
In 1990 I had a surgical menopause, (not female) and stopped my period during surgery. Dr. said it was due to my age of 50 and also the major shock to my system (had gall bladder and kidney removed - not cancer) - About three years ago I had a night that changed my life - was so constipated I cried, ended up with aching everytime I go to bathroom now - have had colonoscopy - found diverticula but ok - I was told a few years ago that my vagina was inflammed and was put on premarin creme besides HRT - eventually stopped using it - recently started slight spotting - -Dr. said it was vagina infection - so dry - after that we cleared up I used premarin cream again - stopped about a week ago and there was a small spot again - besides the aching every time I go to the bathroom and the constant aching I have now - don't even know what is aching anymore - - IBS or cramps - Anyone else ever spot - - Maybe my body is coming out of shock - because I notice I am pretty warm all the time and it is humid where I work - - - Thanks
