Re: cervix after LEEPFrom: Thomas (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 28 Sep 1998 04:36:17 -0500 (CDT)
Common things being common, it is probable that you are just a bit late with this period as a result of the stress of your LEEP. However, it is possible that you may be pregnant in spite of a negative test if you have had intercourse. The concern that you clearly have is that you may have developed cervical stenosis following the LEEP. Although this is possible it is unlikely. I would advise a woman such as yourself to see a doctor if she develops pains, no bleeding for 3 cycles or is pregnant. However, if you continue to be worried there is no point sitting at home being stressed out. That would be a good reason to see your doctor.
