Herbs that help with menstrual bleeding problems and/or hormone irregularities and pelvic pain are: Alfalfa, blessed thistle, blue & black coshosh (2 separate herbs, but work synergistically), calendula, cinnamon, false unicorn root, feverfew, goldenseal (great for decreasing uterine bleeding), evening primrose oil (also known as GLA or borage seed oil), red raspberry leaf, rosemary, and squawvine. Of course, you wouldn't go out and take all of these together (though some of them CAN be taken together). Some may work better than others; some have side effects; some shouldn't be used in the presence of certain other conditions. That's why folks shouldn't self-treat :)

Papers? Nope, don't have them. Doesn't mean they aren't out there, I just don't know of them (but that doesn't mean much).
