Re: Male/Female OBGYN

I perfer a female doctor. But when I had a large cyst and I called my dr's office, my doctor had left the practice and the only one that could see me was a man. I was desperate, so I did it. I like him a lot and he really did an excellent job taking care of me (I had surgery). But I still wish my old doctor was still there. A female doctor understands the side effects of birth control. She understands the fear involved when you have GYN pain. I am going to try and switch to another female doctor in the practice.

I hate going to the OB/GYN and having a male doctor gives me one more irrational thing to be nervous about. But that's the way that I feel.
