EndometriosisFrom: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 3 Sep 1998 19:43:55 -0500 (CDT)
I have endometriosis and very large ovaian cysts. I had one two months ago the size of a grapefruit. Anyways, my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. I go to the doctor about every two weeks. We have been trying for 3 months. The doctor would like to put me on Serophene. Which is fine with us, because also my husband is only about 70% fertile. But the last two months when I ovulate my egg stays in my ovary (to my understanding) therefore my ovary gets enlarged and causes a lot of pain about the time I ovulate. So then my doctor puts me on Provera to atleast allow me to have my period and let my ovary go down. But I'm sure he can not put me on the Serophene if this is happening. I don't understand the whole deal. I just know my husband really want atleast one child. Plus the endometriosis is in my uterus and grows faster then normal. I need some help and pointers. I go back to the doctors 9/10/98.If anyone can help before then please!!
