Actually, it seems the pill doesn't interfere with the absorption of analgesics, but makes us get rid of them faster; however, I'm unaware of any similar interaction with any allergy medication.

On the other hand, the exacerbation in your allergy symptoms may not be coincidental. A few women find that the estrogen component of birth control pills makes their noses much more congested. I suggest you discuss your observations with the prescribing clinician and ask if a change of pills is advisable.
