First of all, I can tell you are in a lot of pain and my heart goes out to you. But, your post is a little puzzling. If your husband wants to wait 3-4 years to have another baby, why have you spent the last year trying to get pregnant? When you say he is afraid of parenting, is he afraid of parenting the child you already have? If you can't afford private counseling, is there a priest, rabbi, minister, etc you can go to for help? If you haven't already, try to find an agency in your area that can provide counseling on a payment schedule based on your income. My mom used to work at one, so I know they are out there. Best of luck to you and your family!
