Re: abnormal bleeding during periodsFrom: Thomas (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 28 Aug 1998 09:48:56 -0500 (CDT)
I'm astonished by the fact that you can't see a doctor for 6 weeks. Although it is possible that you may be anaemic as a result it is unlikely that this delay will cause a further medical problem. However, this must be an extreme social disability for you and waiting 6 weeks is not acceptable. Post details of where you live and your social circumstances and one of the doctors on the site may be able to give you information on how to obtain an earlier appointment. Best of luck. Is this a problem for other women on the site?
