Alcohol and BBT

How does drinking in the evening usually affect a person's BBT? Does it usually raise or lower their BBT the next morning?

Most of what I've read indicates that most "disturbances" cause a temperature spike. However, I saw a dip a few days ago (down .3 deg one day, back up even higher the next) and the only explanation I could figure was the couple of drinks I had the night before. The same thing happened this morning after I had a couple of drinks last night (but this morning may be a warning of AF).

I'm just curious to find out what other women's experience has been. Have other people seen temperature dips from drinking (or any other change in routine)?

Thanks, Andrea
