physical therapy and pregnancy

Hello,

Yesterday I apparently made a wrong move, and auch!!! my old backproblem (dislocated disc in the lower back) came back to me. Usually what I do in that situation is go straight to my physical therapist who will manipulate my spine back into position, massage, put some electrodes on it and after a few treatments I'm back to normal.

But... I just found out that I'm pregnant (5 weeks now) and at my age (43) and the fact that it took me long years of all possible efforts and disappointments to get this far, I don't know if it would be wise to undergo this kind of physical therapy right now. I would not do anything that would jeopardize this precious pregnancy!

Who has some advice on this??

Thanks, Anneminke
