scar tissue and adhesions of PIDFrom: April (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 21 Aug 1998 15:10:03 -0500 (CDT)
I had a laperoscopy , which led to an immediate lassion (sp?) of scar tissue and adhesions . That was just over 10 years ago . My Doctor told me there is no way to stop them from returning ,that in time , I may need another surgery . Now I am 31 with NO insur. and dont know how to go about getting a county facility to help me . I know its that time , for two reasons . The first is the pain and discomfort that has progressingly gotten worse , not to mention a new ache that I have in my hips from time to time that is almost unbearible !! The second is the fact that 2 years after my surgery a ultrasound showed a mass , the nurses were fighting with me that I had had an overy removed from that side in question , only I knew that it was the scar tissue and adhesions that had grown back . Is there any info anyone can give me reguarding the stage which I am at ? Is a hysterectomy next and will that stop the spider webs ? Thanks to whom ever may respond !! Not that it may make a difference ,after given a 30% chance of concieving , I concieved 4 times , two boys I have know and I have had my tubes tied , 7 years ago .
