Dear Pamela, Hi, I am 26 and have had both of my ovaries removed due to dermoid cysts... I am not going to comment on what you should or should not do , but if you go ahead and decide to have them removed I would highly recommed getting in touch with the Women's International Pharmacy about their Progestrone cream with Testosterone.. I was put on Premarin 1.25 which I still take and Provera .. the Provera was horrible for me and I experienced many side effects. I know that your doctor will say that you don't need any Progesterone, but the natural progestrone was a LIFE SAVER.. It has restored my body back to what it was before I got sick and I am truly amazed..!! Good luck in whatever you decide and god bless...:-) Melody
