1st Period after Baby-Something Wrong????

I am on my 1st period since my 3rd daughter was born on Feb.24th/98. I had an IUD placed in at my 6 week check up and I had it removed almost a month ago - due to spotting the whole time it was in practically. I have Polycystic Ovarian Disease so my doc gave me 5 mg of Progesterone or Provera to take to bring on a period for me. I spotted a brown discharge for about a week, then all of a sudden yesterday, it started to flow like a damn had broke. It almost felt like I was peeing, it was coming out so fast. I went through 4 pads in 3 hours. It is pretty much the same today, changing pads and/or tampons every 2 hours. BUT.....the thing that really has me puzzled is why does my perinieum (sp??) hurt almost as bad as after I had given birth???? It hurts to stand, as I almost feel like something is ready to fall out of me, and I really have to sit down carefully, as I am soooooo sore down there, I almost feel like I've been kicked severly, even my tailbone hurts like hell. I just feel like I'm so bruised, and I even have to wipe carefully. I just want to know if anyone else has felt this way, and is this normal??????
