Wendy,

There are medications that will stimulate the ovaries to release an egg. You may need to make your health care providers aware of your seriousness in wanting a pregnancy at this time. They may need to do some hormonal studies to rule out other problems that may be influencing the function of your ovaries prior to considering these medications, though.

I'm sure that your health care providers are concerned about your long term health and their suggestions on your losing the weight is a reflection on that. Make sure you let them know what you would like to accomplish.

Hope this is of some help.
