The past few months, though, I have noticed that my menstruation blood is a little different. Sometimes I pass a very small clot of blood that seems almost fleshy or mucousy. Since it has never appeared this way before, I am a little concerned and I wonder if it is something to check out with a doctor. I have checked everywhere on the internet to find out something about menstruation flow characteristics like my own--everything is about abnormally heavy flows, nothing is about the characteristics of the blood itself and what constitutes normal or abnormal.
