Question for Dr Ind regarding Pill Myths

Dr Ind,
Thank you so much for your time and patience in resolving these myths
with respect to the pill. If I'm not mistaken, the first list of myths
specified the combination pill as the pill in which most of these myths
applied.
My quesiton/myth for you is...does this pill (or the mini pill) work in
a manner similar to the IUD in that it does NOT prevent conception, just
implantation? Which of the two pills (combination or mini) is more
likely to prevent ovulation as opposed to only preventing implantation?
Thanks and I can wait til tomorrow for your answer 8-)
