Case raport: This case is about a patient of 30 years old with a twins pregnancy. The labour was by caesarean section. The anesthesia was subaracnoidea by 1.5ml iperbaric bupivacaina 1%, christalloid and colloid infusion. There wasn't problems until 4 hours after surgical section, when suddenly the patient developed seizures,a strange nucal edema and mantle erythema. The symptoms regressed with symptomatic therapy (anticonvulsants drugs and meccanical ventilation)after about 24 hours. - Neurological examination was substantially negative - EEG and ECG Negative - TCC negative - Chest TC: triangular opacity in the base of dx lung - Emathologics examinations negative

Conclusions was for an amniotic embolism, but the question is about nucal edema phisiophatology.
