>Stephanie I was recently switched from triphasic pills to monophasic pills. So far, (I'm 2 weeks into the new pills), I'm not having any problems. But I've never had any problems on any type of birth control pill. Triphasic pills have three different types of pills that each have a different level of horomones. Monophasic pills have the same level of horomones in each pill. If you are prone to ovarian cysts, there is some evidence that monophasic pills are better at preventing cysts than triphasic pills. The FDA has some info about this at: http://www.fda.gov/bbs/topics/ANSWERS/ANS00236.html Ann
