It was horrible! The Dr. wasn't able to do it because it was causing me so much pain. After I made her stop and told her I couldn't do it, she explained to me that she wasn't able to give me novicain or any other kind of drug because only a Dr. could do that!!! Imagine my shock I thought she was a Dr.! Turns out she was just a nurse pratictioner! I'm outraged! Then she told me that the majority of women that have never had children have trouble having this procedure done with out some sort of pain relief!!! SHE KNEW I had never had children and KNEW I would be in a lot of pain!!! I am just sooo angry! How can the military get away with this! I would have thought a EMB was more than just routine and I should have been seeing a Dr. and not a nurse. I know they have a lot of training and can be very good at their job but I wish that I was told ahead of time and that I would have had a choice. Now, I understand why she couldn't do my copo!
