Dear Doctors, I believe I have just had a miscarriage. Here are the details.

4 healthy pregnancies & births My son was born 4 months ago. I had a suspicion I was pregnant and took a hpt & was + waited 5 days had some bleeding - took another test - still positive had a horrible sharp pain - I cant descri¾ it - it knocked me off my feet, made me dizzy & I think I passed out - husband came home from work and took me to dr

they did an ultrasound - showed no sign of pregnancy AT ALL

dr(family dr) did a test and exam and told me I definitely was pregnant but not anymore. Sent me to a specialist(obgyn) who said he suspected a tubal pregnancy that dislodged itself

question: Is this possible or common? what would cause this? can this effect future pregnancies?

I am so upset about this - I am crying & no one even husband doesnt understand. How can this happen? Am I crazy?
