Endometriosis and Zoladex treatment

I am a 29 yr old with stage III endo. I have been on Zoladex for a month and a half as a precursor to more surgery. I have been concerned about what I have read about GnRH antagonists putting women into permanent menopause and also whether it permanently damages your pituitary glands' ability to receive the hormonal signals, ie it kills off the receptors. Is any of this true/likely to happen?
