Vivian-

Please call your emergency room tonight and talk to an RN there, who will speak to a doctor there. Throwing up blood of any kind is not normal. You could have several things going on. Since none of us are there to examine you in person it is hard to make any kind of diagnosis.

So, please call your local ER, or at least your on call OB this evening and ask him or her what they think.

I was just getting ready for bed when I had to throw up--I threw up quite a bit of blood (or it seemed to me!) I know it was blood because it was sooo red, and tasted like blood. I am 17 1/2 weeks pregnant, and have suffered with morning sickness/nausea the entire time. This is the first time I've actually thrown up in a couple of weeks, though. Is this anything I should be overly concerned about? I do plan to call my DR in the morning, but thought maybe someone who might look at this before tomorrow when the office opens might suggest something to ease my mind. I haven't taken any meds, haven't felt anything different than my normal fatigue, nausea and overheating (basically rotten). Thank you so much for reading this.
