Previous message: Christine: "Re: Amenorrhea" I'm 25wks pregnant and over the past 10 wks I've noticed an odour & clear discharge that dries to faint yellow. I mentioned it to my OB who said "I'm not worried about it at this stage" (!!). My questions are: is this an infection? if so can it affect the cervix? (eg be a sign of incompetent cervix)? and bring on early labour .. what should I do?? I go to see my OB in about 2 wks for the next checkup - is that too late? should I see her sooner? I also did have a "spot" of brown after sex which my Dr said was due to the cervix "slightly" opening & discharge coming from there (as the placenta is fine) .. is this also related??
