Dear Veda,

You do need a referral to a gyn that specilizes in Endo or an Endrocronologist. If you need a referral because of you healt care provider then you will have to go this route. If you explain to the primary care physician that you have been this route before I am sure they will refer you. Don't take no for an answer call your insurance company if you have any problems as they are usually pretty good about not wanting any unhappy clients.
