Cathy: The choice you made was agonizingly difficult, but your Ob was right. I have seen this event happen over a 30 year practice, and the best advice from a variety of expert perinatologists and neonatologists concurred with your Ob.With a cerclage inserted next time the outlook for the pregnancy is very optimistic.
