Barbara, This could be a number of things, a cyst, bladder/urinary tract/ kidney infection - if antibiotics clear it up, chances are you have an infection of some sort. Whatever it is, you should dee your dr asap - tell them how you are feeling and are concerned - maybe they will get you in sooner. Good luck!
