Re: DeproProvera - Question about Dr Hill's Answer

I have a question about Dr. Hill's response. I had one shot of Depo and was due for my next shot June 13th. I decided not to continue because I was experiencing some of the documented side effects and didn't care for it.

About a week after my shot was due I started spotting and having been bleeding rather heavily for at least 10 days. It is "thinner" than my normal period blood.

I hadn't thought about it very much as I know irregular bleeding is typical with Depo.

You said the woman who had been bleeding for 93 days should seek medical consultation. How long is typical for bleeding and when should I be concerned enough to seek medical attention? A rough estimate would help me out.

Thanks!
