I have continued to have pap smears every 3-4 months until recently. I gave birth to healthy baby boy 5 months ago. During my pregnancy two pap smears came back normal. Now my ob/gyn wants to schedule a pap AND colposcopy. Shouldn't I have the pap first, wait for results and then a colposcopy if abnormalities appear?
