2ND Request: Stage III Endometriosis and FertilityFrom: Robin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 3 Jul 1998 11:51:15 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Doctor, I just had my second Laparoscopy in four months. My first Lap showed a moderate Stage II, bordering on Stage III, according to my doctor. I went to a new doctor that specializes in Endometriosis, had a Lap, and was diagnosed with Stage III Endo. He said that I had such a "healthy score" (32 on the AFS scale), that in his opinion, I am an early Stage IV. My endo was on both ovaries, both side walls, both ureters, cul-de-sac, bladder, sigmoid colon, and uterosacral ligaments, which had to be removed due to the endo. I had an endometrioma on my left ovary. My question to you is what are my chances of having a child with this stage, and the areas of which endo was found? Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate all that the physicians do to make this forum possible, as well as the other professionals that work on this forum.
