Onn June 23rd I had a picture perfect laparoscopic Birch Suspension. About 1/2 hr. later in recovery I developed a huge hematoma. They took me back to surgery and made a 4" incision and put in a J- vac. After 4 days they removed it. My Hb went from 14.6 to 9.6. I have alot of pain from the left side, around the back to the kidney area. The past 2 days I had an increase in swelling, but more localized. An US yesterday showed a fluid collection 3" long and 1 and 1/2" wide. I am seeing a general surgeon today. My GYN said I have a big bruise. Do you think a CAT scan or other testing would be recommended to make sure kidney's, the ureters and the lungs etc. are all working well? My appt. is at 11:45.This is my 2nd week and I am very dizzy and weak. You people are providing a wonderful service. The net has helped me with my research and to formulate questions for my wonderful providers.
