Tammy, I can't answer the progesterone ? for you, but my doc also thought I may have LPD. My cycles were 24-26 days with a progesterone level ranging from 9.8-5.4. He was going to put me on Clomid if I didn't get pg after the HSG. We have been TTC for over a year and a half. Finally, a little over 2 months ago I had the HSG done. Well, there wasn't any huge blockage they could see, but not the cycle of the hsg, but the next cycle I got pregnant!!! I'm now 5 weeks along. I've had some spotting and cramping, but hoping all is ok. So, as for my experience, the HSG worked a miracle!!! My doc has an excellent rep, and he told me to give it 2-3 months to see if the HSG worked before he put me on any meds..
Hope this helps you a little!! Good luck!! Amy
