Hemmorrhaged and no cyclesFrom: andrea (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 29 Jun 1998 03:18:25 -0500 (CDT)
hi. I have searched the archives and am now turning to all of you for information. Thanks in advance :-) I am 29 and delivered my first child 11 months ago. I have not had any indication of a cycle. I hemmorrhaged, I have odd headaches. However, I breastfeed, now once or twice a day and take micronor, the mini pill. This was arranged before delivery. I had always been 28 days like clockwork previously. The questions are: 1.If my pituitary was affected by the hemmorrhage, would I know it or is blood work the only way to truly know? 2.After I stop breastfeeding, which is imminent, how long would be "normal" for my cycles to return? Thanks again. I am beginning to wonder...
