Lisa, Zoloft is a similiar type of drug (both called SSRI's) to Paxil. You may find you have fewer negative side effects, or more negative side effects. It is certainly something worth talking to your doctor about. Also, if you are sexually active (with the possibility of conceiving, if you are), then you and your doctor may consider Zoloft a better option for you. Zoloft is the one most doctor's consider the best to take during pregnancy and nursing.
