Conception Post-pillFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 25 Jun 1998 15:11:49 -0500 (CDT)
It is recommended to wait 3 months after going off the pill to try to conceive. Why is this? Today I just started my third period since stopping taking the pill 3 months ago, and I have tried to conceive for only 2 months now. I have had quite a bit of discomfort and aching pain with pain running down the top and side of my left thigh at the time when ovulation should be occurring each month, so I assume that I have been ovulating. Is it possible that despite ovulation something else is preventing conception? Thanks for the answer.
