Atypical Squamous Cells of Undetermined Significance means just that. Better known as ASCUS (or 'ask us'). It means that there are some changes that the pathologist is unsure about. It needs to be repeated and if persistant further tests need to be done to determine what is going on - ie colposcopy. Chances are good that the repeat will be back to normal.
