Acne-desperateFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 17 Jun 1998 21:15:24 -0500 (CDT)
Dear Doctor, I am so tired of using so many kinds of medications for my acne, which non have ever worked. I could open a pharmacy with all of the medications I've tried. I am 24 years old and have been on eythromicine cream and pill, retin-A (dried my skin),differin, klaron lotion 10%, Meclan 1%, cleocin (made my skin worse the second day), and recently I tried going to a third dermatologist who said I have mild rosacea. She gave me metrogel and azelex to use together. I tried it the next day and it got worse and by the third day my whole face had tiny white head pimples over it, while trying the medication I did feel a slight burning sensation but didn't think much of it. I've tried the birth control pill, but it gave me an upset stomach. I feel so depressed because of the acne although it's not a very bad case. I don't know what to do anymore, help what should I use, there must be something out there for me.
