I recall reading this post before, or one very similar. A soft cervix may be a sign of pregnancy. It depends on your cycle whether or not you have ovulated. Even that can vary so there is no way to know, on this end. Dont try the test until you are officially late. This the only info I can offer. Hope it helps.
