Re: possibly pregnant and worried (but incredibly excited)

I second that Carolyn! I was already 6 weeks along when I found out I was pregnant and had drank more than a few drinks in those early weeks. Even after finding out I was expecting I would have a glass of wine or a beer about once every two weeks and even had a little chapagne. I continued this throughout most of my pregnancy reading all I could about the effects of alcohol, caffeine and everything else we put in our bodies. I even danced at my cousins wedding when I was 8 months pregnant while my family stood ready to catch-sure I would just fall over. Steph, first of all there is nothing you can do turn back the clock, you didn't know. Secondly, as Carolyn points out we don't know how much is too much-published studies have all documented what the effects of 4-5 glasses of wine per day will do to a fetus. Thankfully I gave birth to a healthy 8lbs 7oz baby boy in January who is growing and developing faster than he should for his age. Good luck. At Fri, 12 Jun 1998, Carolyn wrote: >
