'kidney-shaped' uterusFrom: ms. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 12 Jun 1998 11:16:25 -0500 (CDT)
My friend underwent surgery because her obgyn thought that her pain was from endometriosis. Her obgyn discovered that her endometriosis was slight but that her uterus was shaped like a kidney bean with two 'heads' at either end instead of being shaped like a balloon. All the information I could find on the net just pointed to bicornuate uterus' and her uterus was not shaped like a heart but like a kidney bean. Her obgyn wants to go back in again after she has recovered because she has never seen anything like this before. Any information you may have on this would be greatly appreciated. A holistic doctor thought her pain was derived from too many anti-biotics earlier in her life (for acne). Thank you in advance for your reply.
