I have Gilbert's Disease. I went to Planned Parenthood, and they said I could not be on oral contraception, because of my Gilert's Disease. However, when I asked my internal medicine doctor about the situation she said I could be on oral contraception with Gilbert's Disease as long as my pap smear was normal which it was. I do not know who is correct in this situation. I desperately wish to be on oral contraception.
