Was operated to remove extensive chocolate cysts and one fallopian tube was saved. Was then put on depo which seems to have stopped all problems. However, weight gain seems to be a bit of a problem and have also noticed lower back pain (only when I bend at the waist-if I bend with my knees I don't feel pain). I am wondering if you could give some advise re weight loss whilst on depo and also could the back pain point towards the reoccurence of the endo. I have also found that since I have had this lower back pain my stomach has been very bloated --I used to be somebody who had a very small waistline. Your asistance will be appreciated as in South Africa there is not much support for endo sufferers and I am left to my own devices to help myself.
