Anovulatory and Hormone QuestionsFrom: Kristal (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 8 Jun 1998 17:32:42 -0500 (CDT)
I faxed my BBT to my doctor this month, according to him, I am having an anovulatory cycle. One of my questions is how long should I wait before taking something like Provera to help me start my cycle (I am on day 39)? Second of all, I was thinking about taking one of my old BCP (I have a pack that was never used and was just going to take the first one in the pack) to help start my cycle. Is this advisable? Also, I am having an Endocrine panel done on day 3 of my cycle, if I ever start. If I were to take Provera or BCP to start my cycle would this affect any of the results of the tests? Thanks for your response.
