Hi Jenn :)

1) Progesterone raises your temp (whether it be your own or the suppositories) but this occurs post-ov and shouldn't affect your temps before you ovulate. If you were ovulating in previous cycles and could see the dip and rise, the supps shouldn't affect that.

2) Day #1 would be the first day of red bleeding. You should get your period unless you are pregnant but the extra progesterone tends to lengthen the cycle by a few days.

3) The OPK is done prior to ovulation. The suppositories wouldn't affect the OPK (didn't for me anyway!).

Unless you are pregnant, you should have a period two weeks (or a bit longer due to the progesterone supplementation) after ovulation. Are you thinking that the suppositories will prevent a period?

If you have a short luteal phase, I don't understand why the nurse would want you to stop the supplements. Usually they are used until one of two things happen a) your period starts or b) you are 10-14 weeks pregnant (at which point the placenta takes over).

Have you had your progesterone level checked (before starting supplementation)?
